Roxbury Awana is a fun and safe place for children and families to find educational connections to Jesus Christ that they may not find in the world. It is also a place for them to build friendships and create new ones with their peers; and a place for leaders, families and clubbers alike to find truth in God's Word.
*Awana is for children 3 years old though 6th grade and is a part of our PEAK program (Preparing and Equipping Adults-Kids) that meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 pm. A meal is offered for families at 5:45 pm. (An adult MUST accompany their children to the meal)
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. The mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
If you would like to help us purchase some of these items to fill the shoeboxes, click the link below to go to our OCC Amazon Wishlist! Your purchased donation will get shipped right to Roxbury!
Thank you!!
